Your Monthly Digest from The Blog

Hi Reader,

This past month had its fair share of curveballs - snow days, home renovation hiccups, the flu, and a water main break at school! Was January nutty for you too?!?

With all the insanity life can throw at you, exercise has become the most reliable method to help me manage stress. Nothing clears my head or improves my mood faster than a good sweat session! What's unreliable, however, is my schedule - lately its been hard to predict. Group fitness classes will always be my preferred method of exercise, but in times like this it's nice to have options that flex to your changing circumstances.

Below are snippits of 2 new articles on The Blog. The first one highlights an online, on-demand workout program that's giving me the flexibility I need in this moment. The second article is near & dear to my heart (and stomach) and has been a work in progress for a long time (ie lots of taste testing)

St. Louis Fitness Events & Pop Ups Hi Reader, I hope this email finds you warm and cozy despite the snow & freezing cold. I know it seems winter will never end, but I'm here to reassure you that spring is in-fact in the air. A few reasons I know this - 1. My youngest son, who has really bad spring allergies, is already taking preventative medications. 2. A few fitness event providers who host outdoor events in the warmer months are eyeing the start of the season in late March/April - YES!!!...

St. Louis Fitness Events & Pop Ups Hi Reader, I hope this email finds everyone well after a slow & snowy start to the week. During this cold time of year, I find myself less motivated to get out of the house. The last several weeks, especially since the kids have been off school, I've been primarily breaking-a-sweat at home, riding my Peloton and testing out some new fitness apps (hope to share more soon). However, I was able to get out for one special fitness event last Friday night. A few...
